ABOUT THE ELLICOTT DISTICT
The Buffalo Ellicott District Council Office is a legislative branch of local government.
The City of Buffalo is comprised of nine (9) Common Council Districts and each district is represented by a Common Council Member.
Council members are elected to the city council to direct the city's development, policies, services, and future.
Some of the Council Member's responsibilities include:
Weekly meetings with the Common Council to vote collectively about what's best for the city. Setting the city agenda, addressing concerns of residents, business owners, and citizen groups.
